SFT Valves Fittings has developed an innovative line of Pressure Snubbers (often referred to as Pulsation Dampeners, Gauge Protectors, and/or Pressure Pulse Dampeners) to provide a constant pressure to your instruments while reducing these fluctuations.
Essentially, a snubber is a protective "shock absorber" for your pressure instruments. It restricts the flow of the media entering into the gauge which dampens damaging spikes, surges, water hammer, and fluid pulsation. By maintaining a stable reading, you also increase the operational life of the gauge drastically through reducing mechanical fatigue.
